Bahamas 2019

Back <

So here we are, December of 2019, and we haven’t hit a new country yet for the year! 😫 So what do we do? We book a quick, 3 day cruise to the Bahamas to check them off our map. 🇧🇸

Leaving out of Miami, it was Skara’s first cruise. And as with all traveling, she seems to love it! We take her to the back of the ship so she can watch as we pull out and she evenwaves to the tug boats as they wave back at her.

Our first day, we’re supposed to dock at Coco.l Cay, but the sea is way too rough for that. Rocking and jolting is all over the place, we spend our day at sea exploring the ship, shopping, and walking laps out on the deck watching the beautiful ocean.

Our second day, we finally get to dock at Nassau and we put our feet on foreign soil. We mostly just shopped, saw some main sights at the port and of course visited Hard Rock to get Skara her souvenir pin!

A very quick and rocky cruise, but totally worth it as we were able to hit a new country weeks before the end of the year. Let’s see what 2020 has in store for us! 🤗
